My Go-To Makeup for Fall 2014 - LIPS

Here's the last installment of my fall product trilogy, lips. Don't forget to read the first two posts - face and eyes!

Vaseline Jelly

_DSC1422Step 1 to good lip care is hydration! This product has been best way to hydrate my lips. It's definitely messier than a lip balm in a tube, but I don't think I'll ever go back. This has been my lifesaver in the winter months when it's dryer inside. If you have terribly dry, flaky lips that don't seem to get the hydration they need from chapstick, you have to give this stuff a try. It's also great when your lips are chapped, and the corners crack. If you use this 2-3 times a day, they'll be good as new within a few days.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

_DSC1424This has been my everyday lip product the past few months. It's so easy to put on at my desk without a mirror, and it's very hydrating. I love this color because it's the "my lips but better" color, so it's perfect for an office setting or everyday wear. Since it's a lip stain it also mean you don't have to constantly touch-up throughout the day - I only apply it 2 or 3 times everyday. Plus the minty scent/flavor is very refreshing.

Wet n Wild Fergie Collection Lipstick in Fergie Daily & Ferguson Crest Cabernet

If I'm going for a bolder look, I have been grabbing my Fergie Collection lipsticks. When I do a bold eye I use the nude color called "Fergie Daily," and when I'm going for a bold lip I use the burgundy color called "Ferguson Crest Cabernet." This lipstick is very creamy and, as I say about all Wet n Wild products, they're pigmented and affordable. If you want to try a nude or cranberry lipcolor for the first time, these are great. Honestly, that's why I originally bought them, and I've fallen in love with them.
